On Wednesday, January 22, Wirtz will again push the boundaries by presenting "Impermanence"-- a duo performance consisting of 100% improvisation. He will be joined by drummer Jon Powers, whose resume also includes working with Ron Miles, Justin Timberlake, Flobots, Charlie Sexton, the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, as well as appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Ellen," "Lopez Tonight," and the "Hope For Haiti Telethon." The duo will be accompanied by the visual brilliance of artists Sara Mae and John Defeo. These incredible artists will be adding their own creativity to the mix with improvised paintings during the set. Live art--visual and audio--in real time, never to be recreated again.
