“An unassuming talent that simply sat down at the microphone and from the first burst from the harmonica and strum of the guitar, held the audience in his hands. What magic, what interpretation. ”

Q: Hello John. Did your love of music help you through your darkest moments when being in the Military force to which I commend you for such bravery. And are your lyrics based upon those experiences?
A: Good question! I have always had my music, but the sad truth is I was at war so long that i fit in better there than here in the world. After so many years fighting, I realized if i was ever going to have a life after, i needed to start, so when i came back from Afghanistan the last time I retired after 30 years and never went back. It is my difficulty in fitting in here that drives so many of my songs, like 'Did I Come Home" and "Is There Life After Death in Iraq and Afghanistan", "Streets of Hell" and countless others. I reach out to veterans and their families hoping my music will show them we all have our difficulties, but there is life after, there has to be! Thanks and God Bless!
