In 1972 - 40 years ago this year - The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band gathered a group of iconic Country Music artists to record the now legendary Will The Circle Be Unbroken album. Earl Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, Maybelle Carter , Roy Acuff and Bashful Brother Oswald. This album was released as a three LP set on the United Artists label. Due to their superb musicianship people like Doc Watson, Norman Blake, and Vassar Clements became household names for baby boomers around the world. Chapel Hill music instructor, performing artist and studio musician Danny Gotham, has brought together a wonderful group of Triangle musicians and on April 15 at 2:00 PM they will perform "Songs From The Circle" at Community Church of Chapel Hill located at 106 Purfoy Rd in Capel Hill
