Q: always love a good child's chorus in any rock song..but how did you guys achieve yours for "feels good to be sad"..is it a big group or small ensemble multitracked?? Brilliant song!
A: Thanks for asking! The story behind is these 3 girls about 9-10 who where playing beside the studio, and who where quite curious of what was going on inside. When we where recording the song we just invited them in, and asked if they would like to sing. And they did so with all their hart, to say the least :) The choir is simply a couple of dubbed tracks, and I think the reason why it sounds bigger is that they where not singing exactly in the same way on the different tracks. The song isn´t the kind of music one would expect a 9 year old would listen too, but these girls went to the roof with it LOL. They actually wrote back some time after, like a fan letter, with drawings and stuff. So sweet!
