TEXAS NATIVE Singer/Songwriter, JEFF SMITHART brings all these Styles to the Music Table with His Style of "REDNECK COUNTRY" With his Debut CD " REDNECK PROUD" produced by another TEXAS NATIVE "BRANDON LYNN SHANE" Jeff and Brandon have blended all of the above mentioned styles to create Jeff's unique style of "REDNECK COUNTRY" In general, Jeff grew up listening to the kind of music that is Returning Today. Jeff was raised on Country Honky Tonk with a mix of Southern Rock and Blues. With his Musical Family going back to his Grandparents and to the late Stevie Ray Vaughan.

In 1979, Jeff met Don and Connie Haines and their Son, Kenny Howard...who owned The Wind River Canyon Band, along with Singer Brandon Lynn Shane showing Jeff the Ropes led to Jeff's first time on stage with a band. 1981 - Jeff joined Ben Logan as front man for The Collin County Band. 1983 - Jeff met Billy Boozer from Raleigh, NC. Billy Boozer was a rock guitar slinger. with Jeff's writing/vocals and Billy's hot riffs they put together The well known Billy Boozer Band, all original Southern Rock. 1986 - Jeff was the front man for the Corner Boys, Rock/Blues Band. 1988 - Jeff turned back to his Country Roots with a rounded education in Music and Stage and with Ben Logan, Rick Denker, John Newman, Hayden Redwine, Roger Privett and Jim Hagler they put together Jeff Smithart & County Line. One of the Top Local Bands at the Time. 1997 - Jeff met Lead Player Dave Young from St Louis MO. with Bass player, Lee Moses and Drummer, Erik Kats they formed the Smokin' 4 Piece Country Band "Private Stock". 2002 - After 5 years as Front Man for Private Stock, Jeff took time off to write and play smaller rooms acoustically, Playing special events, and some clubs. 2006 - Jeff met Braewood Land Development Owner Bret Cochren, Who Noticed the Passion Jeff had for His Music, Along with Investor Bill Sellers he now has the proper Team in place to support him and his dream. 2008 - Jeff Has currently completed his Debut CD "Redneck Proud" With Indie Lable "Mirror Image Nashville" and Produced by "Texas Native" Producer, Brandon Lynn Shane. and is due to Releace March 2009. Born In Dallas Texas and raised in the Town of Little Elm on Lewisville Lake in North Central Texas. At a very early age Jeff was Lucky enough to have Parents that would Hit the Local Honky Tonks and Bring the Bands to their Home for Jam Sessions. And take Jeff with them to the Honky Tonks when they could. This gave Jeff the Desire and Education to be the Entertainer he is today.
