Bio
Jeff Meyers is talented a singer and BMI composer/writer who plays guitar and dabbles in harmonica, mandolin, bass, piano (keyboards), bongos, kitchen utensils and anything else that makes noise. He's been writing and recording songs for years that try to capture what he sees as tiny slices of the human experience. He plays out and about in the Columbus area both as a solo and with the fabulously talented Tom Griffin as part of the acoustic duo EDMW.
About
Jeff's songs prove to be less about genre and more about making the sound fit the mood or the moment - whichever comes first. His songs cover what comes with the day to day, what comes with reflection and what comes when looking ahead. His songs come from his own experiences, but also from the social observation and interaction he has with things that flow in, over and around him as he stands up to his waist in the river of life. At times, he often wishes he had a better pair of hip boots.
