Bio
J-Delphia who was known as “Da Barber Juice” from “Da Barbershop” has collaborated with numerous artist from Da Barbershop to Defari, Tha Liks, Dialated Peoples, Choc Ty (Barbershop), Phil Da Ag (Strong Arm Steady) and worked with Buzztone Management, Immortal Records and Loud records.
He was performing local shows in Los Angeles, in clubs such as the House Of Blues, Unity, Club Mental, UCLA Campus, Cal State Northridge, USC Campus, Santa Monica College, St. Mary’s, etc…
About
In 2005 J-Delphia broke loose from the “Barbershop” to do his solo project's being the last and lost chapter of it all.
He released his first Mix CD “By Appointment Only” featuring J-Delphia /GS/SK (Barbershop)/ Ruga (No Limit Records)/ Kiz (Barbershop)/
Choc Ty (Barbershop)/ GT/ Elway/ Joker (who was killed before the CD came out, RIP).
J-Delphia’s 2nd release was “Heroine Muzik” featuring J-Delphia/GS/ Kiz
/Minnis (RIP), next was “The Lost Chapta” J-Delphia solo and subsequently “Open Seazon” featuring J-Delphia/GS/17 Shot/ Phab01/SK
/Sponge (Barbershop).
J-Delphia composed and produced the soundtrack for a LA Beats movie called “Broken Glass”. A movie about the streets of LA. In return LA Beats shot J-Delphia’s first video as an artist, performing a song that should hit a nerve with anyone who has watched a loved one on drugs, but couldn’t forgive them for the time lost in between, just to show the other side of a drug dealer who has close family on the same drug he was selling.
At the age of 27, J-Delphia decided to do it all on his own. He began helping others who didn’t have the means to book studio time or just needed support and guidance. He started his own production company “Corner Boy Muzik” and has plans to build his own label together with his manager Daniel to provide a home for his own music and other artist who are ready to trust him with their careers.
J-Delphia has always been known to help, encourage, and embrace those who need guidance or simply someone to believe in them. His passion to build a home for exceptional music and artist is highly appreciated by the streets. Artists feel in tune with him; J-Delphia doesn’t hide anything and is very open minded. He will give collaborators a lot of love and opportunities.
The most remarkable quality about J-Delphia is that he will give you 130% on every project. He will give four dimensions of himself from producing, writing, and engineering to rhyming.
