My name is Jami JoAnne Russell. I'm a Southern California-based vocalist specializing in standards, big band numbers, showtunes, oldies, etc. I've been singing my entire life and am looking to make my passion my one and only career. Music is my first and one true love.

I'm currently in the process of looking for a manager who believes in me and a band that needs me. All songs uploaded are from my demo CDs and therefore avalible for free. The gentleman who plays the piano, Kevin Weed, is a wonderfully talented individual who also happens to play the bagpipes.

I like the old songs the best. I always have. To me they have better lyrics and just have way more meaning.

My favorite singers include Barry Manilow, Michael Crawford, Brent Spiner, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Mel Torme, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Neil Diamond, The Andrew Sisters, and yes, even Jerry Lee Lewis and "Weird" Al Yankovic. My favorite band is the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
