Jackie Greene was born on November 27th, 1980 in Salinas, CA. He grew up in the foothills of Northern California and began performing original songs at the age of 19.
Some 6 albums later, he has toured nationally with BB King, Gov't Mule, Los Lobos, Buddy Guy, The Black Crowes, Derek Trucks and many other legends in the Americana/Rock scene.
In 2007-2009 he was the lead singer in Phil Lesh and Friends, a band formed by the legendary Grateful Dead bassist.
