Iron Wolf is a melodic thrash band from Virginia and was created by Jay Henry and Noah Vavra in 2006. Iron Wolf played a few shows and released a split CD under the name Beerzerker with bass player Keith Beecher, and drummer Oliver K. The original Iron Wolf was very much influenced by melodic punk bands like Tragedy and The Holy Mountain. Soon the influences of many Metal legends like Gamma Ray, Helloween, Tank, and Riot made their way into the sound and it was decided that Iron Wolf needed a new direction. With a name and lineup change the Iron Wolf of today was created. With the help of bass player Carl Moore and drummer Noah Trevino Iron Wolf has released an EP and plays many shows up and down the east coast.
