"The secret weapon of this St. Paul/Duluth foursome is lead singer Patti Ryan, whose husky, expressive voice is quite similar to last season's "American Idol" runner-up Crystal Bowersox, who also rocks a nice retro vibe. "Don't Look Down" is the band's latest CD, and it's highly recommended to those looking for a modern take on Woodstock-era rock."

Q: Where did you get the name "Inukshuk"? It looks Inuit (Eskimo) to me?
A: Hello- and thanks for asking Marylouise. It is indeed Inuit. On a trip to Ontario, the band, while searching for name, kept coming across these amazing stone towers and structures. We found out that the Inuits have been building these Inukshuks for thousands of years to indicate to travelers after them, that this a good path to take. People still build them today. We loved the idea of honoring people who have gone before us, who inspired us to make music, be it past musicians or family and friends, so chose this name and called it a place. Lots of folks ask us, "Where is Inukshuk Pass?" I tell them, it is wherever you are that feels safe and good because someone has blazed that trail for you. :) Hope you're enjoying our songs. They are meant to bring people to that place of feeling whole and grounded. Peace to you and yours, Patti Ryan - Inukshuk Pass
