Q: How do you make this music so, perfect? It sounds like you guys have done this for your whole life? Is there a certain program you guys use?

A: We engineered the record ourselves, but honestly, a lot has to do with just trying to get the best takes that you can from the musician. Spending the extra time so that the performances are all solid will do more for the overall quality of the recording than days of tweaking in a program. As far as doing it our whole lives, well that's sort of true. We've all been playing for close to 20 years, and the guitarist that engineered most of the record has been recording himself and previous bands of his for about a decade now. That said though, after recording everything ourselves we did go into a studio for a few days to have the album mixed. As a whole though, I'd worry less about specific programs, and spend more time on performances and getting to know the gear that you have. These days you can make some pretty excellent quality recordings on a pretty modest budget. Thanks for the kind words!
