Immortal Divination is: the fastest, most progressive, Death Metal Bands in The Northwest, Possibly the world.
IMMORTAL DIVINATION hails from Seattle, Washington, USA, With a World Wide Fan Base numbering in the thousands. The brain child of Jay Hanson (ex-Cryptic Deity, Myrotomy) 10+ years in the making. In late 2005, Orion and Micah Swift (ex-Cryptic Deity, Walpurgis Nacht), published an ad in the Seattle Stranger for their band, Singultus, with a request for a drummer. Jay immediately replied to this call and it was discovered that Jay and Micah were friends and band mates 15 years previous. As it turns out, Jay had accomplished much in his absence. He traveled to Tampa Bay, Florida, for those of you who don’t know Tampa is the Death Metal capitol of the USA. Such bands as Cannibal Corpse, Diabolic, Obituary and Morbid Angel hail from there. As well as Death itself, the Original Death Metal band. He became friends with the great Pete Sandoval (Morbid Angel, Terrorizer). Pete also became his drum-instructor. He learned much.
Their early band practice took place at a rehearsal space known as Evolution Studios in Bellevue, WA. Jay had a full arsenal of brutal rhythms already written for the drums which Orion and Micah wrote to with ease. The songs fit perfectly, and they knew they were on to something. After a month or two at Evolution Studios, they found a little band shed in Everett to call their home. Mark Ryder was added to the band's line-up.
Their musical adventures eventually lead them to Diet of Worms studios in Tampa Bay, Florida where their CD PREVIEW for their up coming Cd, entitled Crowned, was recorded by the one and only “Punchy” Juan Gonzalez. Punchy has recorded, among others, the new Terrorizer and Morbid Angel’s Heretic. Crowned has been mentioned by some as the most brutal and heavy composition of music ever written. Dustin (ex-No one Lives), was added to the lineup as well, Giving Immortal Divination Their most brutal and Bone Crushing lineup to date with a full compliment of 5 and 7 string Brutality! Early in the year of 2007 Jay suffered from serious health issues from a collapsed lung and had to take a hiatus. In the spring Immortal Divination hooked up with a new drummer Sy. Sy filled Jay’s shoes bringing the band to another level of brutality. In October Immortal Divination recorded their new EP, From the Abyssmal Depths, and it will be released Early 2008. Orion switched from guitars to lead vocals and David Wright took over the guitars. The new line up is Super Badass, and so fucking epic. Girls watch out they will rock your hard with their blood throbbing cocks. There are none who can contain the creative, gore-inspiring energy of Immortal Divination.

I use Ibanez and Schecter guitars, I play on peavey 5150 and a Behringer
v-ampire guitar heads and whenever possible I use a peavey jsx guitar
head and basson guitar cabs.
I've been playing guitar since I was 13 and I've been in bands since I was 14.
I always drink a wired xxx before I go onstage because it gives me the energy I need to kick ass and put on a show.

Band History: No One Lives, after leaving, I met up with death metal Jay who introduced me to death metal in late 02. I rejoined Immortal Divination in late 06.
Projects: No One Lives, 2 years, recorded a 4 track demo and a 10 track album
I play on an Ibanez sound gear 5 string, (I had another one but some asshole stole it). I use a Crate b-350 and Hartke 4x10 and a 15.
I love B.C. Rich zombie 5 strings, and 5 string Ibanez’. Ampeq are the ideal cabs for me. And Dean Markley blue steel strings are the shit hands down!
My influences are of course Cannibal Corpse, Primus, Belphegor, Suffocation and Hate Eternal.
I have been playing bass since I was 9, and then I learned the drums shortly after.
I infect the air of Lynnwood, spawned in shoreline and terrorize Seattle.

Band History: Punk band called I heart hookers, a grind core band,
A metal core band called These Blackened Wings and a thrash metal band
called Odine's Curse.
I currently use an Ibanez and a Behringer stack. The gear I prefer includes peavey JSX, Ibanez guitars, and Schecter guitars.
I was born in Everett. I am 17 years old, hailing from Mountlake Terrace. I have been playing the guitar for almost 3 years but I started predominantly on bass for most of that time. I have played in bands since the age of 16.
My influences include: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paul Gilbert, Jeff Loomis, Less Claypool, Alex Webster.
Projects: Started as a guitar tech for Immortal Divination and became permanent on guitar when the guitarist, Orion moved to lead singer.

I’ve been playing drums for 6 years n bands for about 4 years and the fist band I was in was we where together for about 2 years. I was in my second band for about 1-2 years. Then with my fellow members we started my third band. After I left Enmity My friends From Culling the Weak introduced me to members of Immortal Divination.

Vater drumsticks, Spaun drums, and Evans drum heads.
Wired helps me a lot. When I play shows it gives me the energy to get though a show, I drink it during long practices and I just like to enjoy a Wired when ever I love it!
