The Possums intention is “to create and share bliss through music”. Their collective joy onstage is delightful, & their performances are carried on a strong current of love and friendship. “Possum” audience members often comment on how that energy is positively contagious! http://honeysucklepossums.com/ 8pm - SWEET TALK RADIO is the husband and wife team of Kathrin Shorr & Tim Burlingame. This dynamic duo, based in Los Angeles, draws on the combination of Shorr's captivating vocals and Burlingame's lyrical guitar. The Tall Men show is rich with brotherly rapport, crafted harmonies, stories and musicianship. But that's only the "icing." The "cake"s the songwriting. Accessible, fresh, original, often funny, always moving. Audiences from Oregon to San Diego rave that "every song is a gem". The overwhelming success of their West coast tour prompted the band to release their first album, ‘12 by 6’ in 2013, which is available on CD baby, iTunes and at their live shows. http://tallmengroup.weebly.com/

Shoebefest. A dear friend and fan of the Possums started a festival many years ago. It was local. It was free. It was just our type of music. Well, Mike Shoebe has passed on to the angels, but his memory and festival live on. The Festival is free, but donations are accepted and Tee shirts are for sale if you want to support the cause. it will be great music all day, from noon to 10 pm at night. We will be playing 3 to 4 pm. It is located on a farm in Ojai: 1091 Cuyama Rd. Ojai, Ca. 93023. Take Hwy 150 to Ojai, cross the Ventura River bridge, take 3rd left at La Luna. Go about 1 1/2 miles and go right on El Roblar. In a mile it changes names (don't turn) to Cuyama Rd. Go another 1/2 mile, it's on the left. Bring a picnic (there is no food there, so be prepared-and you WILL want to stay all day, just saying, it's great!). No Dogs please. We are looking forward to this!
Susan, Rebecca and Nicola, the three 'songbirds' of the Possums, will play their original songs and Possum songs. The three Songbirds did 'residency' here in June, it's very cool. This night will also be featuring a fashion show and some other special surprises. Please come and enjoy this event with us!
