Bio

HoneyBoy Dupree, "RIP" December 1, 1952 - April 4, 2009, was head of a powerful southwest blues family and regarded the Godfather of the Blues in the valley of the sun where he made his home on the country side of Phoenix, Arizona. HoneyBoy Dupree, born and raised in New Jersey, was an electrifying performer and internationally renowned songwriter and a man among men. He cut his music molars in church, then on the gritty Jersey-club-circuit. He is reunited here with Famous Chili Dog band mates Nasty Ned and Lee Fink. A rollicking, soulful serving of classic HoneyBoy is the result. Also featured prominently is Arizona hit man Big Mack Mason. HoneyBoy Dupree can be heard on radio worldwide.
