Hey everyone! I would just like to share with you my personal testimony, and hope that you will be blessed by the words that are being delivered through this music.   Before I start, I want to let you know about the awesome God I live for! I put God first and foremost in everything that I do. If it wasn't for God keeping and equipping me for everything he has in store for me, I probably wouldn't be as blessed as I am today! Jesus Christ is all powerful and can take the worst and turn it around for your good. You really can't go wrong putting him first in your life. That is why I make melody for him and him alone.

Now a little about Myself... Although I grew up all over Eastern United States, I was actually born and raised in Jamaica. That easy going island rhythm and a natural feel for music was embedded in me from early on. Even to this day I am still largely influenced by Caribbean beats and melodies when writing music. I was kind of what you would call an "Army Brat," moving from state to state and living on military bases. My father was in the US Army, and in our travelings we lived in Virginia, New York, Colorado, Georgia, and finally Florida! Music for me really didn't start until high school. I didn't realize how much I loved music before then, but I didn't start involving myself in music until I got my inspiration in 9th grade. For some strange reason I thought it would be interesting to take a steel drums class as an elective that year. I was right! Steel drums are so much fun to play, especially when you have a full band of all the different kinds. Anyway, there was a piano in that classroom, and a guy that played it and sang every class. I was so shocked with how he could play so many songs that everyone knew and the whole class would sing along. This is where my piano playing officially began. Playing the Piano is one of my most favorite things to do. Although I had only been playing for a short while, I picked things up rather quickly. I am completely self taught and have only recently been studying music in school. Besides my passion for music, I have also had a passion for teaching and sharing the knowledge that I have attained in any subject. Since I have decided to combine teaching and music, right now I am working on a degree in Music Education. Singing for me is a more recent development. I really didn't start singing seriously until I was almost 18. I remember how horrible I felt being so old and so bad at singing! I am not the greatest singer, but i can definitely say that I have gotten much better. Its not over yet though; whether you be a singer or musician you should always strive to better yourself and constantly push yourself toward excellence in everything you do. Writing music is simply a gift that God gave me! I suddenly got the inspiration and ability to write 5 of my best songs about a year ago. And just like that, within a years time, I now have written over 30 songs almost effortlessly! God is good!!! "When God appoints you, he will equip you to do the job" -Jesse Wilson
