“Holod-Nacalo When I heard this album of this Russian band for the first time, I fought that they are playing Gothic or Black Metal. The intro to this album made me think about this, but the second song” Слёзы” showed me that his is not the case. The second song here this album proofed to me that this is not the case. Sure you can hear some influences which are from the Gothic Genre, but their music is a mixture of Speed, Trash and at some moments even a bit Core. First of all I must say that this is their first album, I totally forgot to mention this because I started right away to speak about their music style. I don’t know much about the history of this band so I won’t go into this. The music of Holod is fast and brutal which some quiet moment when you can hear some clean vocals in Russian which at the first listening sound a bit strange and like they don’t belong there... ”

“Was already familiar with the work of Holod, so was delighted to hear their new album "NACHALO." The cover can be seen standing next to the throne slightly bent figure in a cloak. In the background the same terms - the ruined city. Looks good... The album "NACHALO" - 11 tracks (including intro). All the songs in general are unusual mixture of many genres. Basically it is certainly DeathCore and MetalCore, but sometimes you can feel clean and Brutal, and HardCore. But the highlight of the album (and most creative guys) is a striking combination of heavy riffs and breakdowns with beautiful melodies and ringing. This is very different from most other groups that sawing the same tune on the guitar, simply changing the order of notes. In every song there is always melodic inset, which clearly applied to the heavy rhythm. This gives each song a kind of spirit, that sends the listener not only music, but also specific emotions.
