"Hits They Missed" is a collection of 10 inspirational songs, in various genres, penned by songwriters across the U.S.  All the tunes were recently submitted to a hit television show's songwriting competition, but failed to make the finals.

After hearing many of the contest entries online, executive producer Luanne Hunt and Nashville producers Sean Gasaway and John Bass believed many were potential hits.  In hoping to bring attention to these wonderful songs, they put the wheels in motion to produce this compilation CD.

Songwriters include: Sean Gasaway & Brad Bertram (Nashville, TN), Luanne & Steve Hunt (Hesperia, CA), Patrick Hurd (Fort Gratiot, MI), David Kraut (New York, NY), Dana Lamb (Fayetteville, GA) Jamie Southworth (Sanford, FL), Iggy Taylor (Hockessin, DE), Heidi Thompson (Las Vegas, NV), Geoff Thurman (Loganville, GA), Nancy Vogl and Leslie Bowe (Traverse City, MI).

A portion of the proceeds from the CD will benefit the Oakland School for the Arts in Oakland, CA.  Additionally, it is the intention of the songwriters that their music will inspire, enlighten and motivate everyone to keep striving towards their biggest and brightest dreams.
