Heather Kropf
Pittsburgh, PA
Singer Songwriter / Indie Pop / Somewhere between folk and neo-soul
Bio
Kropf’s work blends contemporary folk with piano-driven pop. Her largely introspective and philosophical lyrics, which explore themes of identity, place, relationship and memory, are delivered and anchored by her pristine vocals. She has often been compared with other literate songwriters such as Suzanne Vega and Shawn Colvin.
Press
"Hestia sounds very much like a cross between Suzanne Vega and early Kate Bush without sounding too terribly much like either...Her songs are strong and she has a wonderfully resonant voice that is particularly effective...Really smooth beautiful stuff. Recommended. (Rating: 5++)"
