The band is born in 1993 in La Paz, Bolivia, the group is founded by Ricardo Larrazabal (guitar) who invites to a drummer and Vladimir Mendieta in bass and voice, with this line-up they begin to be presented live during the whole year 1993 and in June of 1994 they record a first demo titled "Sociedad sin vida (Society Without Life)" that musically did not have a defined style, in 1995 after several changes in the drum Milton Morales enters like definitive drummer.

In  1995 the second  “XXI CENTURY” is recorded . During the first half of the 95' few presentations were made, then the band enters in a recess of 6 months and it stops February of the 1996

The year 96 are very productive for the band since is invited at two of the most important rock festivals in Bolivia. The first one was the Explorock 96' where those are presented classified 10 better bands of the musical scene of the city of La Paz, and then to the First National Festival of Music Underground "RAZA (race)" both with a great success. For October of the same year it wins the first place in a competition among 36 bands of their city.

Of December of 1996 to February of 1997, HATE start the pre-produccion of their debut album, entering to Proton Studies February 2 1997 the recording was hard until June and was mixed during July. During that year few performances are made, but very important ; they get ready for the promotion of theCD  and a video clip of the song Addiction" is filmed.

At the beginning of 1998 it wins their second competition denominated "X-Prerock", in the category Metal, the album rushes to the market the day March 2, titled "Heart Beat Machine" and it is presented during the same month the material is promoted acting in several concerts.

In April they are invited to participate in the competition "April Fest" organized by the Pub "Equinoccio", with the bands more know of the city, being again winning. Maybe this it is one of their more important achievements, The day August 7 finally present their work in an official way in a theater of their city with an absolute success.

During 1998 - 1999 they are able to promote with success their material with a tour in all country and in February of 1999 they record a live album, This live album is released  as limited edition, the same one includes 8 compositions that came out in the "Heart Beat Machine and a cover of the  band Loukass.

In February of the year 2000 are recorded the album baptized as "Anagramas" moving in a more melodic way but without losing the force that characterizes to the trio, the band has a substantial change in the lyrics ..cos all the compositions are made in spanish with the exception of a single song, they are carried out the last concerts of the era Heart Beat Machine that includes been supporters to the Argentinean band Rata Blanca in front of 6000 people.

The first three months of the year 2001 HATE gets ready for the release of the album "Anagramas", meanwhile it continues playing live with performances where they suported to the Swedish band Hammerfall and the cult punk band the Argentineans "Attaque 77", the album finally goes out in May 14 in La Paz city, in October HATE receives the invitation to present "Anagramas" inside the International Festival of the Culture in the city of Potosi.

The promotion of the album "Anagramas" it should be suspended due to an accident that Ricardo Larrazabal suffers for which should be operated in Dicember the 2001 the hard recovery maintains until June of the 2002 where they return to the scenarios next to the Spanish band "Tierra Santa".

The promotion of the album "Anagramas" it finishes in December of that year and the rehearsals and pre-production begin of what will be their new CD "Republica de Odio" where they return to a hard line, and less melodic of their previous album, in these dates the band is recording this new album that one thinks to rush at the end of April of the 2003.

Around November of the 2003, Morales Milton decides to give up the band, for what HATE it begins immediately to look for a new drummer, after a couple of weeks of auditions Christian Paredes is chosen as the new drummer of HATE.

The band begins to practicing and to compose new material immediately because there are several dates confirmed to play in La Paz and Cochabamba, the show of La Paz where for the first time where HATE plays with its new drummer Christian it congregates in one day Wednesday, in front of 400 people This performance makes people to appreciate the new sound of HATE and the new drummer.

Then the band decided to prepare the recording of an EP with the topics that the band composed from November until February in April the band decides to record in Capella Records with Martin's Joffre production, the result it is an album where the band sounds compact, but aggressive.

The title of the EP is Angel Oscuro that it leaves for sale the day 9 of September of this year and it is without a doubt the best work of HATE so far.

In November of the 2004 the band begins to promote the record and receives 4 nominations in the Rockanbol Awards winning for second time and Christian Paredes receives the award for best drummer of the year.

At the beginning of year the band signs a contract with a North American label Statue Records for the distribution in United States of the album "Angel Oscuro" (Dark Angel). The promotion of this disk even takes them to play in Peru and to record the live official record

In November of 2005 "Angel Oscuro" (Dark Angel) wins as Best EP in the third edition of the Rockanbol Awards and have you it wins for 3 serial times as better band in their style.

In 2006 the band release the live album “Odio Vivo” and recorded the new studio album “Pandemonium”, this cd is released in 2007 with great success for the band.

El grupo nace a principios de 1993 en La Paz, Bolivia, el grupo es fundado por Ricardo Larrazabal (guitarra), quien invita a un baterista y a Vladimir Mendieta en el bajo y voz, con esta formación empiezan a presentarse en vivo durante todo el año 1993 y en Junio de 1994 graban un primer demo titulado "Sociedad Sin Vida", que musicalmente no tenia un estilo definido; rozando el heavy metal, el punk y el thrash. En 1995 después de varios cambios en la batería ingresa Milton Morales.

En noviembre 1994 ya con un baterista fijo, comienzan los preparativos de composición de 8 temas y en Febrero del 1995 se graba el segundo demo "XXI Century". Durante la primera mitad del 95' se hacen pocas presentaciones, luego la banda ingresa en un receso de 6 meses y para Febrero del 1996 se reúnen de nuevo y componen lo que será el álbum debut de HATE previsto 1998.

El año 96 es muy productivo para la banda ya que es invitada a dos de los más importantes festivales de rock en Bolivia. El primero fue el Explorock 96' donde se presentan las catalogadas 10 mejores bandas de la escena musical de la ciudad de La Paz y luego al Primer Festival Nacional de Música Underground "Raza", HATE se presenta en ambos festivales con un gran éxito. Para Octubre del mismo año gana el primer lugar en un concurso de más de 36 bandas de su ciudad.

De Diciembre de 1996 a Febrero de 1997, HATE comienza la fase de PRE-producción de su álbum debut, ingresando a Estudios Protón el 2 de Febrero de 1997 la grabación dura hasta Junio y se mezcla durante Julio luego se hacen actuaciones muy importantes en el interior del país; se preparan para promocionar el disco en 1998 y se filma un video clip de la canción "Addiction". La banda produce y lanza su grabación de forma totalmente independiente y sin la ayuda de ningún sello boliviano ni internacional, aunque esto signifique más trabajo y menos difusión. Ya que se pretende mantener intacta la identidad y el sonido del grupo.

A principios de 1998 gana su segundo concurso el denominado "X-Prerock", en la categoría hard rock, el disco se lanza al mercado el día 2 de Marzo, titulado "Heart Beat Machine " y se presenta durante el mismo mes en un Púb. De nuestra ciudad, se promociona el material actuando en varios pubs y conciertos. En Abril son invitados a participar en el concurso "April Fest" organizado por el Púb. Equinoccio, con las bandas más renombradas de la ciudad resultando nuevamente ganador. Quizá este sea uno de sus logros más importantes, demostrando que sus anteriores premios no fueron casualidad.

El día 7 de Agosto por fin pueden presentar su trabajo de forma oficial en un teatro de su ciudad con un éxito absoluto. Durante 1998 - 1999 logran promocionar con éxito su material por el interior del país y en Febrero de 1999 graban un disco en vivo en un conocido Púb. . Este disco se lo lanza como edición limitada el mismo incluye 8 composiciones que salieron en el "Heart Beat Machine " y un cover de la banda Loukass. En Febrero del año 2000 se graba el ultimo disco de la banda bautizado "Anagramas" moviéndose en una dirección un poco mas melódica pero sin perder la fuerza que caracteriza al trío, también se realiza un cambio substancial en materia de letras ya que todas las composiciones de anagramas son en castellano (a excepción de una sola canción), se realizan los últimos conciertos de la era Heart Beat Machine que incluyen telonear a la banda argentina Rata Blanca ante mas de 6000 personas.

Los primeros tres meses del año 2001 HATE prepara el lanzamiento de "Anagramas", mientras tanto sigue tocando en vivo con actuaciones donde telonean a los suecos Hammerfall y a la banda punk de culto los argentinos Attaque 77, el disco por fin se lanza el 14 de mayo en la cuidad de La Paz, en octubre HATE recibe la invitación para presentar "Anagramas" dentro del Festival Internacional de la Cultura en la ciudad de Potosí. La promoción del disco "Anagramas" debe ser suspendida debido a un accidente que sufre Ricardo Larrazabal por el cual debe ser operado en Diciembre del 2001 la recuperación dura hasta Junio del 2002 donde retornan a los escenarios junto a la banda española Tierra Santa.

La promoción del disco "Anagramas" termina en Diciembre de ese año y empiezan los ensayos y PRE-producción de lo que será su nuevo disco "Republica de Odio" donde vuelven a la línea mas dura y menos melódica de su anterior disco. La banda graba este disco entre febrero y abril de del 2003. Se hace solo 2 presentaciones de ese disco ya que alrededor de Noviembre del 2003, Milton es expulsado de la banda, por lo que HATE empieza inmediatamente a buscar un nuevo baterista, luego de un par de semanas de audiciones Christian Paredes es elegido como el nuevo baterista de HATE.

Por este disco Hate recibe el premio Rockanbol a la mejor banda metal otorgado por la afamada emisora de radio Stereo 97. La banda empieza a ensayar y a componer nuevo material inmediatamente porque hay varias fechas confirmadas para tocar en La Paz y Cochabamba, el show de La Paz donde por primera vez HATE toca con su nuevo baterista Christian congrega en un día miércoles ante más de 400 personas en el Equinoccio Live Bar. Esta actuación hace que la gente aprecie y guste no solo del nuevo sonido de HATE sino del nuevo baterista. Luego se decide preparar la grabación de un EP con los temas que la banda compuso desde noviembre hasta febrero en abril se decide grabar en Capella Records con la producción de Martín Joffre el resultado es un disco donde la banda suena mas compacta, mas agresiva. El EP se titula Ángel Oscuro que salio a la venta el día 9 de septiembre del 2004 y es sin duda el mejor trabajo de HATE hasta la fecha. La presentación fue un éxito llenando el local con mas de 500 personas y quedándose mas de 100 personas sin poder entrar a al lugar, además de agotar casi las primeras 500 unidades del nuevo disco.

En noviembre del 2004 la banda empieza a promocionar el disco y recibe 4 nominaciones en los premios Rockanbol ganando por segundo año consecutivo este premio y Christian Paredes recibe el premio a mejor baterista del año.

A principios de año la banda firma un contrato con un sello norteamericano Statue Records para la distribución en Estados Unidos del disco Ángel Oscuro. La promoción de este disco los lleva incluso a tocar en Perú y a grabar el disco oficial en vivo

En noviembre de 2005 Ángel Oscuro gana como mejor EP en la tercera edición de los premios Rockanbol y Hate gana por 3 vez consecutiva como mejor banda en su estilo.

En 2006 la banda se dedica a componer y preproducir su nuevo disco haciendo pocas presentaciones y alista la salida de su disco en vivo para finales de septiembre.

El 2007 la banda decide incorporar a un nuevo miembro a la banda Kato Agramond al bajo para que Vladimir pueda concentrarse solamente en la voz, esta alineación graba su nuevo disco titulado “Pandemonium” que saldrá a la venta el 23 de Noviembre y la banda se prepara para una gira nacional y  internacional que los llevara a ciudades de 4 países de Sud América
