About
Just as the Musicians from the greatest era in musical history often co-mingled and jammed with one another, so do the players that revolve around Grateful Ted & Friends. Anchored by steadfast enthusiasm and JerryFest's Founder Ted Gaul. Anyone who Knows Ted, and has seen him play at Stonersville and various venues throughout the Berks county, with all the many configurations of Friends over the past 10 years, also knows Grateful Ted & Friends presents a fresh and constantly changing improvisational approach to the same tunes. Incidentally, this also reflects the character of The Grateful Dead's style, and a core value held by many musicians who respect a creative approach to musical form. Some of the Musicians You might hear if you travel out to see the band, also play with other bands in and also out of the area. Much of the reason for the revolving lineup is because of the avilability issue. While It is not "new" problem, it surely adds an interesting variable to the idea of having a band. However, We all sort of revolve around Ted, if you will, When A gig comes Up Ted finds out who of us is available.
