Global Heat is Winner of the 2011 Jammin' Challenge, a competition featuring over 50 Seattle bands produced by Seattle Wave Radio and Hard Rock Cafe, and also the recipient of a 2012 Seattle NEXT 50 grant for The Roots of Hip Hop in Ancient Cultures. Irukandji Physics of Fusion is a unique blend of Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Trip Hop and Rock. The Bad Tenants is what happens when hip-hop and blues get drunk on whiskey and wine and make a baby.
