Private Show: The Ases (pronounces aces) program is hosting this event where artist can come in to help motivate the kids to keep them in the program. The program helps the Middle school kids with homework help also serves as a safe haven for kids so that they are not running in the streets. Most of the kids come from single parent homes or foster homes and a great deal come from homes where 1 of the parents is incarcerated. The Pomona Unified School district is trying to cut the program if not enough kids join the program, with the kids that have joined the program teachers have reported higher test scores and that the kids are now more willing to learn and participate in school and better their education.
