Bio
Gigi D’Amico half Spanish and half Italian, a dj producer and sound engineer, born in Catania, Sicily. Founded the 'Magna Studio Sound' important rehearsal studio.
In 1995 he began his sound engineer careeer
Over the years he has written and performed music ( Beatle Juice, Somersault). In 2003 D'Amico moved to London,
A lot of top collaboration including Dented Records,Kudos Records and FAT! Records.
Gigi is an artist trying to define and express his ego in every single ordinary action.
About
He comes from the deep south of Italy- Sicily- where tradition has a predominant root and the Jews Harp is part of the old traditional Sicilian music, he took this musical instrument into the electronic music environment, using it as synthesizer emulation, creating a unique hypnotic texture blended with abstract sound and rhythm research and it becomes:
