ghostboy and Wyth Dryden have known each other for about nine years and have been working on musical endeavors together for about as long, starting off in a cover band by the name of SMU with two of their high school comrades (Ethan K. S. and Sam 'Jimbo' G.); Wyth on bass, ghostboy on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. They played local venues and were never paid. This eventually evolved into a group called The Fall Effect. They performed covers and original songs, mostly in the pop-punk vein. After four years, the group fell apart. A short while after, they re-formed as The Bridge is Out Ahead, a metalcore band that performed only originals, and did not feature Wyth. TBOA did not have a vocalist or bassist until just before their first show; Ethan and ghostboy doing most of the writing. They enjoyed moderate, if somewhat under appreciated, success before, again, falling apart. All four of them would soon be going to college.

Jet :

In the year of 2007, ghostboy would meet a man known as Jet in a friend's dorm room. They would soon become good friends (read : partners in drinking and various acts of misdeed around Potsdam), sharing many of the same interests.

Not long after this, ghostboy began experimenting with the electronic genre. The first track he finished, titled NUMBL1P, is featured on The Buffalo Hound demo for just that reason. Jet, having been a purveyor of the techno and dance genres after his time studying abroad in England, became instantly intrigued by the process and wanted to become a part of it. So, the ghostboy and Jet set off with a 30 pack of Miller High Life, as they usually did around that time in their lives, and found a hollow for themselves, initially intending to play Halo 3 and get really, really drunk.  This became their workspace. Often times, they were joined by Wyth and a Marine named Jordan L. Both would be instrumental in the creation of the tracks TANGLETONGUE and FIXED_POSITION. And thus Wyth was recruited to be part of the project as well. Currently, ghostboy is working with Jet and Historian Himself on new tracks and looking for more collaborators.
