Bio
For a songwriter with such a distinct sound and style, Gary Marks has been able to succeed in many different musical genres throughout his 35 year career. Gary's first recording, "Gathering," was a folk rock jazz album released in 1973. His original music was accompanied by a band of future jazz greats, including guitarist John Scofield, pianist Michael Cochrane, and vibraphonist David Samuels.
