“We, Fujiyama Roll, play original and cover Japanese Pop/Rock. In 2005, our guitarist, Jimmy, organized "NC-RTP-ROCK," a music lover's group for Japanese people in Triangle area, and started to rehearse at the Nightsound Studio in Carrboro. Fujiyama Roll has started their career as one of several bands in NC-RTP-ROCK since 2007. After some member changes, Fujiyama Roll settled as a 4-piece-band, consisting of Jimmy, Junko, Yasu (AKA Moja) and Matt. We'd like to introduce "real Japanese music" in North Carolina, not only "already well known traditional Japanese culture!" Besides music, our members work hard for a research lab, a trading company, etc. ”
