Freedom Verse Cafe formerly known as the infamous show title "Mic Check" is for the FREE promotion of spoken word artist and developing a community for free thinking poets who provide positive and mind bending poetry to their audiences.  This show was renamed to Freedom Verse Cafe in the launch of season 3 of Mic Check's broadcast.  This renaming was to embrace the culture of spoken word and to set the tone for edutaining rather than just entertaining the masses...let the session vibe you.
