Flip has been for more than 10 years the guitar player and songwriter for successful Mexican Rock band Jumbo. This is his first solo proyect which will be released in late July 2009 together with a tour with his new band comprising members of Zurdok and Claxons. To produce this album Flip get close to his favourite music, blues, americana, roots, and rock & roll.

Se edita el album 'Adios domingo gris'.

En la primer quincena del mes de Febrero, el primer album en solitario de Flip Tamez se editara bajo el sello ShockingWatts y se distribuira en México atravez de las cadenas de tiendas MixUp, Liverpool y Sanborns.
