Bio
What began earnestly as a solo project by then John Carroll University freshman Brandon Kocher has transformed over the years under the name FireSide Symphony. The latestet incatnation captured on studio effort "Soul Journey," which is a compelling melange of folk, jazz, reggae, hip-hop, funk and rock sounds. "We're unique," said Mayfield Heights resident Kocher. "You're not going to find a sound like ours anywhere else."

FireSide Symphony creates an organic sound of music. If our sound was a planet, the percussion is the rock beneathe the soil. The rhythm guitar is the ground walked upon and the harmonious vocals are the air we breathe, while the message in the melody is the spirit of life. Brandon E. Kocher has released FireSide Symphony's second album "Soul Journey." The album features many Cleveland musicians such as: Sean Ferguson on bass guitar, J Guy on drum kit and percussion, Mike Shafarenko on violin, Kole as a lyricist and Mike Minnaugh on harmony vocals and Shai from Shai Roots on the Darbuka. FireSide Symphony is currently performing live as a solo act, with Brandon E. Kocher or as a duet, with Mike Minnaugh. We are playing live as much as possible and hope to see you at a show in the very near future! LOVE, PEACE, HAPPINESS!!!
