About
With a 20-minute set, a self-made video (very much a novelty in those days) and a handful of mismatched songs Finish The Story hit the Phoenix Club stage in Malvern for its one-off gig. Nicola, usually very quiet in rehearsals, suddenly came to life, found a voice and put in quite a performance. In the audience was freelance journalist Mick Mercer who was there to review the Dancing Did for Record Mirror, he also mentioned Finish The Story. A review of the same gig appeared in Zig Zag written by Sara Jones who said, 'Finish The Story's debut gig was better than the second coming of Jesus Christ'.......With only a few gigs under their belt they supported The Cure at Hammersmith Odeon.
