She holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens. She  studied piano in the National Conservatory of Athens, in the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, then in the Conservatoire National de Région de Rueil-Malmaison with Bernard Ringeissen. She  holds diplomas in counterpoint and fugue from the  Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (classes with J.-P. Holstein and M. Merlet) and in Orchestration from the Scola Cantorum, (classes with P. Sciortino).

She has studied  composition with Theodore Antoniou and she currently is a phd candidate in music composition using mathematical models (Ionian University of Greece). Her most recent work is focused on applications of catastrophe theory.
