“Released by Dejavu Latin Music Productions, Canciones Ajenas was recorded between 2009 and 2012 at studios in Columbus, Mexico, and Peru. Infante and Dejavu combine pop and rock with Latin American and Caribbean rhythms, such as salsa, festejo, mambo, cumbia, vallenato, timba, bossa nova, and rumba. Members of Dejavu include Enrique Infante (lead vocals, guitar, and percussion); Kimberly Hollingsworth (vocals); Jeff Crisafulli (bass guitar); Steven Bustos (drums); Bill Hilt (lead guitar); Tino Casanova (percussion); Carlos Durán (percussion); Sergio Ibañez (Cuatro, background vocals, and guitar); Tim Magree (keyboards); Evan Oberla (trombone); Jason Branscum (trombone); and Tim Perdue (trumpet). Infante was recently announced as a winner in the 200Columbus Celebrate Columbus in Song contest commemorating the Bicentennial.”
