HI!

I'm Emily, and welcome to my little corner of the internet. It's all about music. Everything, I mean. It's the only thing that is consistently real in a remotely colorless world. I have so much music in my mind, it's really hard to handle sometimes. It gets noisy. So I sing most of my life to let some of it out. I've been mostly untrained, but that seems to be alright so far. When I'm not singing or listening to music, I'm probably trying to play the piano, or write poetry, sometimes i do homework. Just kidding, actually homework time is combined with listening-to-new-music time. The only two genres that are intolerable are rap and country. Although there are exceptions even there.

The basic thing about me is-- I am 100% committed to everything I decide to do. Playing and writing music is my first career choice. So I'm pretty serious about it. It's all about showing my soul in sound combination. The fact that I have no music theory under my belt is an advantage, I think, because it allows me to express exactly what i need to without a preconceived notion of right or wrong. I'm never satisfied. With anything. And I think that's what makes me so obsessively motivated to always improve.
