Emily Anderson loved to sing at an early age. She began piano lessons at age eight, and continued taking through college. She began writing music at age 16 and continues to polish and perfect her songwriting skills.
She decided to continue a career in music and went to college majoring in oboe performance.
She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 with a Master's degree in oboe performance.
After getting her Masters degree she decided to seriously pursue a career in songwriting and performing. She moved to West Memphis with her husband and currently performs in local venues in Memphis with her husband, whom she met in marching band in college.
