El Pueblo is a New York City based Instrumental Reggae/Dub sound mixed with Jazz and Latin music that occasionally features guest singers.
El Pueblo was started by Robert Julian and Lucas Leto in the summer of 2004 while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The original idea was to create a Jazz band that plays roots reggae and utilizes the typical head-solo-head jazz approach but in reggae.

I love it, I had a similar revelation last year and we started working on a jazz trio that plays a lot more than jazz, I hope either you guys get out here to Missouri or we get our there to NYC very soon.
