Eddie-Joe is a new voice in the American art form of jazz music. Eddie-Joe takes heed of what his predecessors have accomplished and continues the search for new shapes, colors and emotional realms within music. His repertoire ranges from that of jazz standards, original material, vocal ease (art of setting lyrics to improvised solos) and musical settings of poetry. Each song form also becomes a vessel for his own improvisations, whether scatting or poetic recitations.
