Q: Grim is a great tune. Really rare song craft. Wonderful singing and arrangement. What inspired this one Egon?

A: Thank you for your question, guys! I’ve been working with marginalized groups (e.g. homeless people, unemployed, mental patients and drug abusers) for many years and I have seen how they’re fighting for life, and how some made it and others didn’t. That is also basically the message of the song. Even if some situations seem hopeless, we should never abandon our hope and we should not refuse a helping hand.
