Synopsis: After a nuclear accident robbed him of super powers, Edison Carter left the battlefield to become a crime scene photographer. As days passed on the job, Edison met others like himself who used to be up in the sky. Some of these others were musicians and artists, and they taught Edison a few things about writing and performing. Eventually, though still robbed of his powers, Edison recovered sufficiently to complete work on his first ep, "Groundling". Critical acclaim followed in the NYC area, thus cementing his decision to journey to Wudan Mountain in China. Edison hoped the monks of the temple would help him increase his strength enough to survive performing his material in a live setting.
After four years of training and various acupressure techniques applied by the Yang family and his friend Broken Sword, Edison returned to his native New York feeling quite a bit stronger.
His first full-length record, "Diastolic", is nearly complete.

Strange But True Facts: Edison and his cohorts have collectively been in bands who have shared the stage with: The Smashing Pumpkins, Verve Pipe, The Honeydogs, Rod Stewart, Vallejo, Bob Schneider, Ian Moore, and the Tonight Show band. In various other performing groups, the Edison Carter Project guys have also played at SXSW and The Heart of Texas Music Festival, Fox7 News, and MTV's "House of Style". Edison's track "Perfect" was selected for Tunetank's 2006 MIDEM Compilation cd. Winner of 2007 NYC Artist's Forum Electronic Music competition in "Alternative Rock" for "2020".
Edison won the silver medal in advanced Yang style saber form two years in a row at the Chin Woo Taiji Legacy in Dallas, Texas. His name is on a plaque in a Subway in Ann Arbor, Michigan for making over 200 subs in one hour. He was also recently a latin-dancing extra in a scene with Sigourney Weaver in Warner Indpendent's "Infamous".
