EDEN BURNING was formed by Vocalist/Guitarist Phil Salazar in early 2006. After a four year hiatus from the music scene, Phil decided it was time to get back on stage . In February 2006, EDEN BURNING was born.

Vocals and Guitar - Phil Salazar : As the bands frontman, guitarist, and sole songwriter, his vision is focused and he believes in giving something to the crowd and making sure everyone is having a good time. His influences range from power chord rock to raunchy sleaze, to punk music. His unforgiving fire and passion he puts into each of his performances will give you 100% sonic rock n roll every time.
Lead Guitar - Matt Steele : Matt and Phil have a long history together, as friends and respective musicians on the San Antonio scene. Matt's tasteful and talented lead playing is a fine compliment to the bands sound, as his fiery tasty licks and over-the-top punk power chording give it an arena rock edge.
Drums - Doug Merritt: A drummer who will never let you down, Doug has been a friend of Phil and Johnny for over 10 years. His stint in several area cover bands led Doug to want more from music and to play in a band with an original sound. His experience is vast and his chops are solid. He is the key to keeping the engine running smoothly. He is the thinker and coordinator and keeps things in check when the going gets rough.
Bass - John Whittaker : John is the latest addition to the band . A  true showman , his playing is solid, his attitude is humble, his towering prescence on stage gives the band the complete street image  .
