Bio
Eagle Nebula is not your average emcee. A pure hip hopper since the age of 8, Nebula was first introduced to rap, not on the radio, but by evenings in her grandmother’s kitchen where rhymed songs were made at random about the various items laying around.
As a teenager, she passed time at church by rapping in the parking lot with fellow LA artist Georgia Anne Muldrow. In high school, when Georgia started making beats, she gave Nebula the mic.
About
Bored of Space and its never ending void, The Eagle Nebula decided to spend some time on Earth where she was attracted to the far-reaching colors and sounds of the early eighties. Before leaving the cosmos, she poured light on her tongue. “This light”, she said, “will awaken many of the earthlings centuries shrouded by darkness! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! She touched down in the year 1982 and after learning how to walk, talk and dance a little, found her way to Leimert Park where she was hypnotized by the freestyle ciphers on the sidewalk outside Project Blowed. She found this process of freestyling to be most like the process of creation that she knew before her life on earth--explosive and free. She decided that if she were to live on earth as human, she would rap, like the highly evolved beings on the park sidewalk. The moment she made this decision, a pair of cosmic headphones appeared in front of her dangling by a single gold silk thread. As she placed them carefully around her head, she could hear the all-wise voice of the universe telling her what to say when she kicks her rhymes.
