DuEwa is a Brooklyn born, Midwest raised lyrical vocalist influenced by the sounds of jazz, hip hop, classic/nu soul, and rock/funk. A seasoned poet and performer, DuEwa began her journey as a professional artist in 1999 at Philadelphia's New Market Theatre. Since then she has performed with some of the best jazz, soul, funk and hip hop musicians in the Tri-state area.
