Dropjoy is an extremely LIVE band. According to CityBeat Magazine, Nicki sounds like Tracy Chapman channeling Hendrix. Born with congenial heart disease and heart transplant recipient in 2003, Andrew provides a jazz influence. Etienne de Bruin provides that melodic bottom end .On March 3rd, 2009 Andrew Light succumbed to heart transplant complications.The song "369" was written for him to explain his condition just before he passed.
