DREAM NOVEAU is the vision of founding Italian guitarist, Pasquale Fontana. The name literally translates to "new dream" inspired by Pasquale's work and partnership with a former band, now long defunct. DREAM NOVEAU is an indie rock n roll band with roots in sunny Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. It began simply with Pasquale's penchant for writing and recording his songs. There was no actual band at the time of the recording of this CD. Pasquale found an enthusiastic musicial partner in friend and drummer, Gord Weeks, who welcomed the opportunity to record original music in his personal studio. Pasquale played and recorded all the guitars, Gord played drums as well as engineering and mixing the CD. Pasquale then enlisted friend and vocalist Laura Bishop, to add her unique voice and sound to the songs. A cameo guest appearance was also made by long time friend, keyboardist, Daniel Heslop.

The musicians have known each other for many years and they played together in various musical reincarnations over the years. That proved advantegeous as it nicely eliminated the necessity of forging new relationships and of the obligatory 'getting to know you' stage. Pasquale says, "having known Gord, Laura and Daniel for as long as I have, made it really comfortable and they were easy to be with and to work alongside. It was a real pleasure. We had a lot of laughs along the way, recalling best left untold stories of the good, the bad and the ugly of life on the road with past bands and such. My intent was to have fun and not place undue or additional pressure on anyone. In fact most of the recording, was done with just Gord and myself sitting around his studio with my guitar and headphones on...gotta love technology!!"

In June 2008, the long awaited 14 track debut CD Nowhere Now here was released. The album packs a punch and is an inspired body of work that is best described as classic to modern rock n roll, with layered and well orchestrated driving guitars, catchy melodies and memorable hooks. Pasquale's keen sense of and devotion to melody is clearly entrenched in every track. The songs showcase Pasquale's diversity and unique musical style. Nowhere Now here comes at you with energy and delivers a solid set of straight ahead rock n roll featuring Laura's soaring vocals.  The CD was produced by Mike Hilliard & Pasquale Fontana.
