Ask Doug fir and the 2x4s anything...
Q: We hosted Jammin' @ Jed for many years. This Sept 6, 2014 is Rockin'@ Rowdy, a daylong musical event. Please consider playing our event for free or reduced charge? Del Norte Child Care Council.
A: We would be glad to consider participating. Please tell us more. We are located quite some distance away (Scotia), and it would take some planning to make arrangements to attend and perform. We are very experienced at Festival participation, hence the following inquiries: Where is the venue (Rowdy Creek Fish Hatchery, Park, etc.?) Is there camping at the venue? Are there hotel/motel facilities nearby? Is there drive up loading or long hand transport? Distance, stage to parking? How long a set or performance? What time of day? Under Lights? Will there be a house PA festival set-up provided? What kind of attendance do you anticipate? Is the festival free, fee-based, non-profit sponsored? If a non-profit, what cause or organization I benefitted, how? Thanks. We look forward to hearing more from you.
