Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Juan Data moved to California in 2001 to pursue a career in music journalism. With his first American paycheck he bought a set of cheap turntables and since then he has also been spinning part time at Latin music oriented clubs, lounges, bars and all other kind of venues. He is currently experimenting with neo-cumbia breaks.
