Bio
Bernard Jones learned of the art of DJ-ing through the likes of local legends and he became such an apt student, that he began to surpass some in talent and technical knowledge in the art. Bernard began becoming involved with the Underground Electronic Music scene.
He has done original work in many styles such as, Breakbeat, IDM, Drum and Bass, House, Techno and every sub-genre in between… However his House Music is what he is known the world over for.
He has been signed to Kolour Recordings, Funkfield Recordings, Lost My Dog, Left Hand Man, Muzique Boutique and Motion Music. By the time of the printing of this article, he will have finished touring a majority of North America.
About
Bernard Jones' musical journey started at the age of five, when his grandmother insisted on his classical training in piano. He studied percussion at The University of Missouri under Chris Hollyday at the age of 15. He learned of the art of DJing through local DJs and first started experimenting in producing house in 2000. Bernard began writing several popular house records and was even nominated for an award in the UK. With several releases under his belt for labels including: Lost My Dog in the UK, Muzique Boutique, Herbal Essence, Kolour, Left Hand Man, Chillin' and Funkfield in the US. Because Bernard's reputation has grown so quickly, Bernard recently moved to Los Angeles, CA after west coast bookings became a monthly occurrence. He continues to tour year-round, and more music projects and remixes are being released every month.
