“Dirty Lips clearly know what they are doing. Formed in 1989, they released their first full length album on their own expenses in Dec. 1993, titled 'Nothing's Better Than your ... ' Now, that album is bought as a rare treasure on eBay and can fetch up to $99. In 2012 they finally followed it up with 'From Nothing To Now'. Strong hints from their own musical influences shine through - the hard rocking ballsy sound,stadium worthy chants and melodic sing-along lyrics. A fine example of this being the track 'Losing My Mind'. KISS would be proud. Not only do this band like to rock in the style of their idols, they share the same ethos-not concerned about the cliche of chunky guitar solos and glass shattering drums, they prefer to focus on people actually listening to their music and their ability to put on a spectacular live show.If you're a fan of this genre of rock, or even if you're not, this album is absolutely worth a listen. Let's hope the boys don't wait another 19 years for the next”
