Last year CRBR sprinted forward with This Is Noteworthy to host the only curated music run in the US. 25 bands were strategically placed every .2 of a mile so runners didn't need headphones and iPods. That's right, the music was live, never stopped, reflected the terrain, and kept their pacing on track. Runners loved it! Bands loved it! The Community loved it! Musicians loved it so much that 1800 of them, yes 1800 different groups, from the all over the southeast, are vying for the coveted 30 spots. Bands will be announced via the CRBR website on Jan 15. Check out their pics, bios, and music ahead of time. But that's not all, a special 2014 CRBR "Run With Me, Vol 2" compilation cd will be available, so pinpoint your favorite band, and find them on the course. Send them a note, get interactive with them! Find us at the expo. http://bridgerun.com/Entertainment.php Only $8 This year, musicians and charities are partnering up to raise EVEN MORE money! Proceeds from CD’s purchased will go back to the charities; plus, the musicians with the most CD’s sold will get the coveted spots at the top of the Cooper River Bridge! Which team are you? COLEY is a Modern Rock band out of Atlanta Ga, blending the sounds of 90's rock to newer modern rock and songwriter/pop artists of today. Their influence varies from over a decade of mainstream chart topping acts such as Pearl Jam, Creed, The Goo Goo Dolls, Kings Of Leon, John Mayer, Collective Soul and even a hint of Marc Broussard. "We pride ourselves on diversity" says Clay Coley, front man of the group. Whether you're looking for the classic southern rock sounds the 90's brought us or lean more towards the more lyrical songwriter feel of today's coffeehouse rock, this band has it all. With Clay on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Chris Nunnally on lead guitar, Aaron Rose on bass guitar, Tony Runco on drums, Tommy Pirone on keys and Casey Buice on well, what doesn't he play?!, hearing truly is believing with these guys, but don't take my word for it, hear for yourself." -Tarryn McCain with Almost Famous Productions- Destitute Way, stemming from the North Georgia mountains have been writing and performing as a unique duo for the past 4 years. Most recently while traveling with Treas Leave throughout Georgia, North & South Carolina and Tennessee, Destitute Way has crafted their sound into a classic Americana take on Blues Music. A folky sound with soulful lyrics. A sound that just draws you in.
