The Vibrant energy driven rhythmic vibe of Shneur A.K.A. DeScribe is in a class & genre of its own. His unique combination of Hip Hop, Reggae & other genres that inspire him, form the vehicle for his pulsating, soul awakening music.
DeScribe was born in Australia in 1982 into a musical Hassidic family, His mother, "Devorah" is an internationally renowned Singer/Songwriter. Drumming from the tender age of 6 months, Shneur's parents bought him a set of drum sticks, a child's size "Dragon" drum set, and sent him off to drum school at the precocious age of 5 years old.
By the age of 9 years old, DeScribe was busy in the studio recording on his mothers albums, and was a featured performer at functions & parties, even flown to the Southern Australian island of Tasmania to perform. By 12 years old he was a soloist performing with known Jewish superstars in front of thousands of people. At 14, Shneur left home to find his own identity- travelling to Israel to study and find answers, he entered a new phase of his journey, exploring alternative life styles, from the street to "the luxury high life".
Then at the early age of 17 years old, in the year 2000, DeScribe joined the Israeli army as a combat sharpshooter serving for 3 years at the height of the Intifada. After the military, he entered the business world, opening a company while working his way up in the Israeli party scene. The opportunity presented and Shneur became a player in organizing the Israeli concert tour with members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Remedy & Killah Priest … well known American based Hip Hop stars. As a member of the tour, in recording sessions by day, and at the shows by night, Shneur found himself privy to the more intimate inner workings of the Hip Hop scene …..
During an intense and painful conglomeration of challenges, and as a last resort, Shneur turned and cried out to G-D and saw his prayers miraculously answered…
Now as an observant Chabad Chassidic Jew, operating a studio in New York, DeScribe produces & records his own unique style of Hip Hop "Music with a Message". He is also a Member of the "Chosen Few" crew.
DeScribe clothes his diverse life experiences & the Chassidic directives of the Lubavitcher Rebbe (spiritual leader) in his unforgettable and incredibly inspiring songs- expressed through Hip Hop- a universal language for all people and all races….
